What other child related policy development can be introduced and implemented to improve and accelerate child rights in the future?

PAN: Children is hosting a dialogue series titled: Children@20years: An overview of child related policy development in the 20 year review on 16 May 2014. The Twenty Year Review provides an evaluation of the policies instituted by government since the advent of democracy. While highlighting achievements, it also addresses shortcomings and looks at initiatives and operational plans for the future. In the latest news, pupils death toll on the road is increasing because of inappropriate transportation. Kwazulu Natal transport MEC Willies Mchunu said in a statement, " that government would consider introducing a policy to prohibit school pupills being transported in bakkies to prevent further accidents". This will ensure children are safe and protected as they travel to school.
